According to the CIA World Factbook the annual per capita income in the D.R. is US$8,400 as of 2006, but I’m assuming it’s higher in the Distrito Nacional because it’s the richest part of the country. Does anyone know?
I´m living in the Dominican Republic, and the per capita income of 8.400 us per person is much to high! (my opinion)
8.400 us x 32 rds= 268800rds : 12=22.400rds!??? the minimum wage is about 5.200 Rds per month! so?????
I think that this numbers are wrong. The districto nacional is not the richest, the zone of Santiago is the richest.
