I hope we make it out alive though. Good luck to SA. It looks like a really nice place to be, if you ignore the violence.

ConstantC4 I trust you are out of the country ’cause with attitudes like yours it would be beneficial to have you far far away. I am going to the WC and I am happy for all that this means to the world and SA. What I think is wonderful is that the whole world is being acquainted with SA – it’s on the news all the time and at last it is for something positive.

so what we should do cancel the world? there are murderes every where U,S,BRAZIL,MEXUCO,EUROPE but they still host major events but because it being held in africa so you’re tryng to point out the negatives instead of the positves.racist SOB

  16. georgew537 says:

    All prospective …
All prospective visitors to South Africa please take note : yesterday a 17-year old girl was gang raped, murdered and her arms were hacked off. This is the kind of cruel & vicious criminal (animal!) awaiting you when you come SA for the World Cup. SA is home to a breed of criminal unlike any in the CIVILIZED world. Please think twice – it simply is not worth the risk. And I AM speaking from 20 years service as a senior police officer and a recent victim of a car hijacking and a house robbery

  17. DaSlug32 says:

    Trust me, the 3000 …
Trust me, the 3000 white farmers murdered were not drug dealers, they were killed because of politics. Regardless of where you are in South Africa, and what you are doing, you are a potential victim. It is a war zone.

  21. ankhsunamum23 says:

    I see. I only …
I see. I only wanted to explain that if you are clean there’s no reason for being simply killed in the street. Europeans think that if they come to Brazil or other poor country they will be killed for no reason for someone they don’t even know.

  22. ankhsunamum23 says:

    Innocent people are …
Innocent people are more likely to be murdered in the USA for a student in a classroom, in Iraq for American bombs or in English subways for terrorists. Or even in earthquakes in Japan, in hurricanes in the USA… People are usually afraid of the wrong things. Every country in the world can be dangerous.

  23. ankhsunamum23 says:

    I live in a …
I live in a brazilian city where drug dealing is very high. Murders always happen, 90% of them are between drug users and dealers, 10% are that kind of crime in which someone kills his wife, girlfriend or friend for a particular reason (this kind of crime is common everywhere). If you owe nothing to no one why would you be murdered? You can only be robbed.

  24. HamsterDon says:

    @ankhsunamum23

“must study…”?? No, I don’t have to do anything if I wonna go on vacation.. just wonna chill and watch football, that’s it.. I’m not interested in finding out why there is crime at all… :)

  25. ankhsunamum23 says:

    In Rio they say …
In Rio they say there’s a civil war but it happens almost always in favelas between cops and drug dealers. Normal people must be only afraid of having their bag stolen. Off course good people die, but its not often as foreigners think. It’s rare.
