World Cup: Race relations in South Africa

SOUTH AFRICA – With the approaching World Cup, security forces are regularly demonstrating their strength. When extreme right-wing leader Eugene TerreBlanche was assassinated last weekend, the suspects were immediately arrested. The government sent a high-ranking delegation to the scene. The police, however, cannot fix everything. Violence is also a product of verbal agitation. Provocateurs such as ANC Youth League leader Julius Malema have recently been condemned for fanning the racial fire.

And are all the blacks in Europe to go back to live with you?
I for one would be happy to accept white south africans in exchange for the blacks in Europe. A very good deal for us I think.

  3. powerdon215 says:

    “two youth that …
“two youth that have never known Apartheid”, they know it very well by way of their living conditions and the pain and deaths of members their family and neighboring families!

Just because the institution stops, it’s effects still last for generations. We’re talking about people, not farm animals. And even some of them grow a hatred for those that keep them in captivity.

  4. LGHHJHH says:

Yes, the killers of Mr. ET were captured immediately because THEY called the cops and handed themselves over!!! Not because the cops are good at their jobs!!!!

  8. ekisaboer says:

    The ANC and the …
The ANC and the police are unable to protect its citizens so why should we give up our legal guns them.

  9. ekisaboer says:

    Disarm the …
Disarm the population that is a great idea now we whites have to defend ourselves with our hands against guns. The fact is that 99% of all crime in South Africa is committed through illegal weapons which are imported from abroad and then sold on the black markets for next to nothing. (If you doubt my facts, be my guest to look it up yourself).

  10. ekisaboer says:

    Furthermore, he …
Furthermore, he talks about how guns are being stolen from legal owners however that number is minuscule compared to how many illegal guns are sold and purchased by criminals on the black markets. One first deal with the major crisis which is illegal weapons purchased and owned by criminals. This you do BEFORE you disarm legal owners who just wish to protect the lives on their families from murderous criminals. This is a clearly illustration of the backward mentality of a black Africans.

  11. Gnubnub says:

    They should rather …
They should rather issue guns to everyone. The criminals already have AK 47′s . Everyone should have to carry an equivalent weapon.

  12. Francois243 says:

    Well now why does …
Well now why does Julius have a white body guard???

  13. dawnrazrblade says:

  14. ChrisDuvenage101 says:

    I honestly think …
I honestly think foreigners should stay away, I’ve been to the UK and compared to SA it’s a walk through a flowery park. South Africa wasn’t safe to begin with and now it’s downright dangerous.

  15. DaSlug32 says:

    How can you disarm …
How can you disarm the ‘civilians’ when the government is threatening white people with death? Why would these law abiding citizens give up the right to defend themselves against a majority bent on their destruction.

  16. TheProductionrandom says:

    Trust this to …
Trust this to happen before the world cup. sakes. All we want is peace.

  17. lightshiner4ubud says:

  18. BigBullBully says:

Im glad to see the news is getting out to the rest of the world, now you all see what this so called democracy is. This current situation affects all South Africans white and black, this fool must be stopped but he is safe as he knows all the anc secrets, just like Winnie Mandela a CONVICTED thief and fraudster who never spent a day behind bars. There is a rumor that after the world cup the militants like Malema are going to start a civil / race war, pray for us please !!!!

  19. Bokdrol91 says:

The suspect was immediatly arrested because they handed themselves into police. South african Police is corupt

  20. 8deSPOOK says:

  21. Erbstank says:

    forbidding …
forbidding civilians from owning weapons of any kind !!????????!!!!!!!!!!

and how are business owners, and other upstanding law-abiding citizens supposed to defend their business, property, farms and themselves against a rampant renegade army of gangs and hijackers in crime-ridden South Africa ?!

  22. MrFrikkie666 says:

    The AWB is totally …
The AWB is totally unpredictable!! Violence is not the answer and neither is retaliation. Bring south Africa to its knees – BOIKOT the FIFA WORLD CUP 2010!!!!

  23. zelmaso says:

    I don’t think there …
I don’t think there will be major problems during the World Cup. South Africa has a pretty good record in organizing major sporting events. I don’t understand why there’s such a fuss about security since it was announced that SA would be host nation. Look at the Confederations Cup last year, there were hardly any incidents.
Obviously, the mindless murder of Terre’Blanche is not helpful but I don’t think it will affect the WC.
