@fireitup9 nah ride the lightning is the best, at least as far as consistency goes. every song on that album is outstanding, but as far as thrashiness goes kill em all definitely wins. master of puppets was great, but and justice for all and black album were really good too. it all went downhill at load. but i still like all of their albums enough to listen to them except for st anger which is total crap!

I wouldn’t say “Metallica has turned into crap”… they lost some of their quality after Cliff’s death, but they still belong to the very top… I have to agree about the consistency of Iron Maiden, Steve Harris is really doing a great job…
