Well rap does usually follow a beat and often has real instruments. I think saying that rap isn’t music is childish and laughably stupid. Ofcourse its “musicness” or “music factor” or whatever the you wanna call it, can be considered smaller than the stuff you call “real music”, but that still doesn’t mean it’s not music. I find some rap to be good actually, but most of the stuff made today is just pure shit.
